SmartView has limitations on design expression. If you are experiencing issues such as “unable to specify styles” or “layout is broken due to image wrapping or hiding,” please check the following.
About specifying styles
SmartFormat is fundamentally designed to enhance the user’s reading experience by providing a simple screen optimized for article viewing with fast display. Therefore, specifying layout using CSS or HTML style attributes is not allowed.
About usable HTML
For the tags that can be used within SmartFormat, please see Usable HTML Tags.
If you use unsupported tags, they will be disabled.
If you want to avoid image wrapping (float)
- About image placement: In SmartView, image placement is automatically determined based on size to ensure users can comfortably read articles.
- About image size: To avoid image float, images with a short side of 400 pixels or more are recommended.
If the short side is less than 100 pixels, the image may not be displayed. Please be aware of this.
